Not to be confused with the Cenote Azul at Laguna Bacalar. Cenote Calavera is located just outside of Tulum town and Zacil-Ha a bit further from that. They are scattered close to the beach resorts of the Mayan riviera: Cancun, Playa del Carmen and Tulum. This cenote has both deep ends where scuba divers go and the shallow areas suitable for the little ones. A guide is necessary here, but advanced reservations are not.
